Schools

Schools on Saipan

Free public schools in every part of the island, a range of private schools from Montessori to college-prep, and a public college.

Families moving here usually choose between the public schools and one of several small private schools. Most private schools on Saipan are WASC-accredited and teach an American curriculum in English.

Class sizes are small, and several schools publish tuition of a few thousand dollars a year. Check each school's website for current tuition, enrollment dates and waitlists.

After the 2026 typhoons: schools reopened in August 2026. The largest private schools reopened in early August and the public schools on August 18. Repairs are still under way at some campuses, so ask about facilities when you contact a school.
